“Love and Loss”
Love and loss is the connecting theme between three orchestral classics: Wagner's "Siegfried Idyll," Richard Strauss tone poem "Death and Transfiguration", and Leonard Bernstein's "Symphonic Dances from West Side Story", that showcase the orchestra from its most subtle beauty to its jazziest bombast.

“I Paggliaci”
By popular demand, the RSO will once again close our season with a semi-staged opera, Leoncavallo's "I Pagliacci." Jealousy, love and murder are the driving forces behind this opera that has all of the drama and melodrama that you expect from Italian opera.
